The Skipavika Project in Norway is one of the first large-scale green ammonia projects in Europe. Located near the Mongstad base, just outside Bergen, a major hub for the oil and gas industry, the project is being developed by FUELLA in partnership with Skipavik Næringspark. It will be designed and built by Casale, a global leader in the field of ammonia plants.
The project will produce up to 100,000 tonnes of green ammonia per year, using only renewable resources such as wind and hydropower, as well as air and water, to replace ammonia produced from fossil fuels and reduce carbon emissions.
